Welcome! I am a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Christopher Newport University, where I teach courses in public law, international relations, and political theory, as well as being a member of the Pre-Law Council.
My Ph.D. in Political Science is from the University at Buffalo; additionally I have a Master of Arts in International Relations from American University School of International Service, a Master of Science in Education from Utica College, and an Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University at Utica College where I double majored in Government & Politics and Philosophy with a minor in History.
Before my academic career, I was a tennis pro and still play regularly. I also enjoy golf, chess, cooking, and reading whenever I get the chance. I would love to learn how to sail in the near(ish) future! I currently live in Virginia with my dogs Hooper and Hudson.
